“Chop Socky Chooks” has gained numerous new U.S. licensees, DCI Los Angeles reports, after consistently making Cartoon Network’s top five for all Saturday morning and cable programming targeted to boys 6-11.

The Kung Fu fighting chickens have scooped up ABG Accessories to develop headwear, handwear, umbrellas, rain slickers and belts (March 2009); Changes for t-shirts, thermals, hoodies, track jackets, belt buckles, wristbands, stickers and patches, pins and key chains (available now); Inkology for back-to-school items, such as portfolios, binders, spiral-bound theme books, journals, memo pads, rulers, pencil pouches and magnetic locker accessories (July 2009); Jada Toys for radio-controlled vehicles with figures, die-cast vehicles, role play toys and plush (January 2009); Thunder Creek’s SwagDog.com for print-on-demand t-shirts (available now); Trends International for posters of all sizes and formats (November 2008); and Ty’s Toy Box for print-on-demand apparel, accessories and posters (available now).

“Chop Socky Chooks” debuted in March and airs several times a week on Cartoon Network. The series is co-produced by four time Oscar-winning Aardman Animations and Decode Entertainment.
