Elmer’s Products has several new educational products for kids ages 3 to tween for 2009.

Elmer’s new early learning category, Kinder-Ready has partnered with children’s author, Eric Carle, best known for his colorful artwork in books such as “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” and more. The line includes eight educational products to help kids build kindergarten skills, ranging from learning letters to physical, social and artistic activities. Kinder-Ready items will retail from $9.99 to $19.99 and will be available in summer 2009.

For kids ages 8 and above, Elmer’s created “MythBusters” science kits. The activity sets will follow the trial and error hands-on format, made popular by the Discovery Channel’s top show. The kits will retail from $19.99 to $29.99 and will be available fall 2009.

Elmer’s has also made additions to its Food Science line. Kids, 8 and up, will be able to use their observation skills and act like a real food scientist to test the line’s latest product add-ons—a chocolate activity kit and pizza activity kit. The kits will retail for $19.99 and are expected to be in stores fall 2009.
