Akiba Maid War Pop-Up Café to Open in LA’s Little Tokyo

Little Akihabara, in collaboration with Cygames and Sentai Filmworks, is inviting anime fans to experience The Akiba Maid War Café, Ton Tokoton. An authentic maid café will be open in the heart of Little Tokyo with an immersive setting that brings the “Ton Tokoton” Café to life.  

The pop-up café will run June 28-July 28 and will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays except July 8. Hours are 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, and noon to 10 p.m. on weekends. The event rating is PG-13, as the contents of the maid café may allude to violent imagery. 

Tickets are by reservation only, with a maximum capacity of 52 guests (13 tables with four chairs each). Weekday café reservation seating is first come, first serve. Oinky Doink Live Porkformance showings will have assigned seating. Shows will only be performed on Live Porkformance Special slots, but personal performances may also be purchased on weekdays. 

Die-hard fans can purchase a VIP package ticket to join influencers and press for early-bird access on June 27 at 7:30 p.m. VIP tickets will also receive event-exclusive merchandise. 

Attendees will receive a free exclusive coaster and complimentary decorated Polaroid with their maid with their reservation. They can also enjoy dishes from Akiba Maid War enhanced by maid spells and drawings, and purchase event-exclusive merchandise to commemorate their visit.
