Pop Mart, a character-based entertainment company and global supporter of designer toy culture, has opened a new, permanent store in the Glendale Galleria shopping center in Glendale, Calif.

The store will mark the second location in Los Angeles, following the opening in Century City earlier this year. As home to several major companies in the entertainment industry, the Glendale location blends in with the local culture and will serve as a hub for creativity, self-expression and the celebration of art in toy form.

The Glendale Galleria store opening follows several new product launches in the U.S. Most recently, for International Women’s Day, Pop Mart’s character, Crybaby, collaborated with the early 2000s classic cartoon, “Powerpuff Girls,” for a joint blind box collection. Another new collection is the Peach Riot series from Pop Mart’s first U.S.-based artist, Libby Frame.

The Pop Mart Glendale Galleria store opened its doors March 16. Visitors can expect an immersive environment that showcases the world of Pop Mart’s designer characters, including Molly, Hirono, The Monsters, SkullPanda and many others. Pop Mart has gained a following worldwide, and the brand currently operates more than 450 stores in over 30 countries, with 2,300 Robo Shops (blind box vending machines) and constant new collaborations with brands such as Uniqlo, Crocs and more. Pop Mart is continuing to expand its U.S. presence with a total of seven permanent stores across the country.
